Why Now?

I've finally decided to start blogging about our family. What prompted it? Mostly Mike's deployment to Iraq. The best part of our day together is telling all the funny, sweet and interesting things the kids did that day. This is the best way to share that. I will be trying my best to keep it current, but it isn't easy being all things to all people in this house while Mike is away!

(Grant acting silly)

Me:  Grant, you are such a ham.

Ella:  What does that mean?

Me:  It means he is good at taking jokes and giving them.

Grant:  (Pretending he is handing out something to me, then Ella, then every object in the room)  Here you go!  Joke!  Here you go! Joke!

Ella: What is he doing?

Me:  He is giving us jokes!

Kelly:  OK, Ella it's time to go to bed.

Ella:  AHHHH.  (pouting)

Kelly:  Now Ella, no pouting. 

Ella:  You should live with me.  The pouting is a LOT worse.
