Why Now?

I've finally decided to start blogging about our family. What prompted it? Mostly Mike's deployment to Iraq. The best part of our day together is telling all the funny, sweet and interesting things the kids did that day. This is the best way to share that. I will be trying my best to keep it current, but it isn't easy being all things to all people in this house while Mike is away!

Choo Choos

Choo Choos are Grant's most favorite thing (besides mama, dadda, Ewwa and Buff).  At night when we say prayers, and we give our thanks to God for everything, he always has to add "choo choos" to the list.  After he wakes up, one of the first things he asks for is his choo choos.  He is always on the look out for a train where ever we go.  At dinner time we discuss as a family our high point, low point and middle point (this was Ella's addition) of our day.  Tonight we asked Grant, "What was your high point?"  Grant said,   "Choo choo."  "What is your low point?"  Grant said, "Choo choo."  "What was your middle point?"  Grant said,  "choo choo."   Ah, to be two again.
