Why Now?

I've finally decided to start blogging about our family. What prompted it? Mostly Mike's deployment to Iraq. The best part of our day together is telling all the funny, sweet and interesting things the kids did that day. This is the best way to share that. I will be trying my best to keep it current, but it isn't easy being all things to all people in this house while Mike is away!

Call me _________

Grant has requested that we no longer call him some of his nicknames.  Below are a couple of the ones he would like to be called.

G:  You are the best mommy in the whole world.
Me:  You're such a sweet babe.
G:  I'm not a babe, I'm Grant-Booster.  Call me a Sweet Grant-Booster!

G:  Call me cracker!
Me:  Why?
G:  Because I crack you up!

And speaking of crackers...

G:  We had a snack today at school.  It was graham crappers and bananas.  I will make some for you.  It will be gluten-free!
